Let’s take a beautiful journey to discover the outskirts of Antigua and the different surrounding villages that hold rich history and traditions. This tour includes, first, a visit to San Felipe de Jesus. This colonial village includes has some pretty amazing picture-taking opportunities for traditional and modern Mayan culture and architecture.

Some highlights of San Felipe de Jesus are:

  • A religious figure of which the greatest generation in Guatemala has kept—El Señor Sepultado
  • Jocotenango and its renowned colorful church
  • Ciudad Vieja, where the city of Santiago de Guatemala was first officially founded
